Postcards from the Past

I have a small collection of antique postcards that I’ve collected throughout the years. I tend to collect postcards that depict places that are connected to my family history. I’ve scanned many of them and shared them here for you to enjoy, too. As my postcard collection grows and I get my current collection scanned, I’ll be adding more images and albums!

  1. These are great scans. I would like to know if you’d be willing to share what scanner you use for these images? Thank you!

    1. Thanks! I have an Epson Perfection V19 scanner that I purchased a while ago. It’s a great little scanner that is lightweight and relatively portable. I scanned these at 600 dpi to capture the incredible detail in some of the photographs. I only wish the scanning bed was a little bit bigger in order to scan books and larger documents, but then it wouldn’t be so portable!
