Undated letter from sometime in September 1917 from Glenn Kaiser to his mother

Dear Mother
I am feeling fine. here to stay for soon time the sergt want me to stay so I did got a good job. The boys that are going south leave here sunday. I got the box Wednesday and it was some box. I got a Bond for $50 pay $5 a month for 10 month yesterday a sunday for all the boys here and we had a good time here. there were some DeKalb people here if Floyd can came up sunday it will be fine. he can leave Sycamore a 7 o clock and leave here a 5 o clock. I can came home in a week or so on a sunday. Well hope you are all well. answer as soon as you can.
